Does FreeCast offer premium channels?Yes! In addition to the hundreds of free channels and on-demand titles already included with a FreeCast subscription, you also have the ability to add the Value Channels package for just $3.99/month.

The Value Channels package includes 18 premium live channels, which you can see below, along with unlimited DVR for those channels.


How can I watch FreeCast?Watch FreeCast instantly from your web browser or through the FreeCast app on smartphones, tablets, smart TVs, streaming devices like Roku, Firestick, Apple TV and Chromecast.

What is the best internet speed for streaming live TV?For smooth streaming, we recommend at least 5 Mbps for standard quality, 25 Mbps for HD and 4K streaming, and 50 Mbps or higher if multiple devices are used simultaneously.

Can I record live TV with FreeCast?Yes, you can add DVR functionality to a Home Hub device (HDHomeRun or FreeCast Home Box) to record local OTA broadcasts. We also offer unlimited DVR functionality for our Value Channels Add-On, allowing users to record live TV, pause, and rewind shows for on-demand viewing.

How do I get local channels to appear on FreeCast?You'll need to connect a Home Hub Device and HD Antenna to your smart TV, then install the FreeCast app on your device. Once the connection is established between the Home Hub device, antenna and TV, the Local Channels should appear and play under the Channels section.
